Do you believe in the possibility of miracles? What about angels, do they exist? The more we discuss about these subjects, the more we realize how much more there is to learn.
Following the reading of the following story, you may change your views on angels. Every now and again, it seems as if life has a way of changing regular people into heroes.
In this incredible account of a small boy’s courage, he saves his father from being run over by a vehicle and crushed to death.
J.T. Parker, a little boy then, was once recognized as a hero. He was presented with an impossible challenge: he needed to save his father. But he believes and insists that he was not alone. The eight-year-old thinks “angels” helped him throughout the tragedy.
In a hot July afternoon, J.T., Mason, J.T.’s teenage brother, and his father, Stephen Parker, were working on their car in the garage of their house.
J.T.’s younger brother, who was 17 at the time, cut his hand and went inside for first aid treatment. Although Stephen’s son was gone, he continued to work on the car. In an interview with East Idaho News, he said:
‘We were removing the engine from the car, and once we had it jacked up, I crawled beneath the car to remove the axels.’
The one axle was easy to remove, but the other side proved stubborn. Stephen became trapped.
By jostling the second axle, he made a huge mistake. He was pinned under the Toyota Prius as it plowed into him.
He screamed for J.T. to come to his help, but he doubted his young son could jack the car from his chest.
‘I was unable to move at all. I was completely entrapped, and then I fell unconscious. Everything was in his hands, and I thought to myself, ‘This is it.’ The fact that it took my 17-year-old son and me both to jack up this car the first time means that he will never be able to jack it up.’
