Deacon’s family was relocating, which meant that he would no longer be able to meet his best friend O’Dee on a regular basis. As a result, his mother organized him a very unique ‘goodbye party’.
Deacon Ross, a two-year-old from East Dallas, Texas, has an unexpected role model in his life. A regular visitor to Deacon’s home on Fridays is O’Dee, a garbage man who is Deacon’s closest buddy.
Their friendship has blossomed, and Little Boy can’t wait to visit his old friend for the last time. The video, on the other hand, shows their goodbye as the Ross family prepares to move into a larger home. Children are known to be friendly, caring, and unselfish, and we all know this. They see the positive in everyone and everything. Our story today is about a hardworking man who can’t keep the tears from streaming down his face when he realizes how much he meant to a little boy whom he befriended. It’s the kind of friendship that we’d all want to have if we could only find it.
When Deacon sees O’Dee’s truck, his face lights up with excitement. Deacon’s mother says that the small kid can’t keep his enthusiasm under wraps when Friday arrives. The reason for this isn’t because the weekend is just around the corner. For one thing, there’s a garbage truck round the corner, on its way to Ross’ street. O’Dee, the local garbage man, makes regular visits to Deacon’s house. They exchange a fist bump and a brief conversation.
The garbage man has definitely made a positive effect on the kid, as seen by Deacon’s willingness to wait for him every Friday. The video includes a little party, which serves as a farewell party.
Deacon’s mother had put together a basket full of sweets and presents for him. He handed it to his buddy, and the two of them hugged and kissed each other goodbye.
